Vietnam
Vietnam Power Company
The power utility needs a portable working standard (portable test set) to test single-phase and three-phase energy meters on site (direct 0.1%, clamp 0.2%), as well as low-voltage and high-voltage current transformer ratios. At the same time, the customer prefers the equipment to be lightweight and small in size.
After studying the customer's specifications and demands, we recommended our YC-98S1H, whose main unit weighs only 0.9 kg and is small enough to hold and use on site. We also supplied a wireless HV current clamp to perform ratio testing. The customer is satisfied with its performance.
Indonesia
Indonesia Power Plant
This industrial customer needs equipment to test the energy meters installed in the factory. The specification is 0.05% in direct mode and 0.2% in clamp mode. The customer hopes this equipment is highly accurate and has long-term reliability and performance, so we recommended our YC-98S1.
This YC-98S1 is a model launched to the market more than 20 years ago. Although it retains the same housing, we have continued to upgrade its hardware and firmware to fulfill customer requirements. This PTS model has been well proven in the market, with very good long-term stability and performance. The customer purchased this PTS in 2018, and it still works well now with very good accuracy.

Indonesia PLN
PLN would like to test CT, VT, CVT and transformers on site. The traditional test method is too complex, so they want to use a single piece of equipment to obtain reference test results with easy cable connection, easy operation, and accurate results.
After studying the specifications, GENY recommended our YC-98A+ and YC-98CVE to PLN. Both units feature easy cable connection, a user-friendly human-machine interface, and a real-time misoperation alarm function. The integrated printer can print test results on site. After a comprehensive assessment, GENY was ultimately selected as the winning bidder.

Malaysia TNB
TNB has a well-structured transformer system, and normally one transformer has two or three levels of feeders. Therefore, TNB requires a piece of equipment that can identify which transformer and feeder each tested meter is connected to. This equipment must clearly display all the parameters of the meters.
It is a multifunctional device that can display not only transformer information but also all other information requested by the customer. After several rounds of on-site commissioning tests, our FI can handle all the on-site conditions and provide clear instructions to operators to guide them in completing the job properly. GENY YCCI-9901 Phase & Feeder Identifier (FI) is already a world-class device.

Malaysia EDMI (Global)
As a multinational supplier of electricity meters, EDMI was looking to purchase high-precision, high-stability and cost-effective production equipment. At the same time, it expected GENY to offer customized services for testing different types of electricity meters.
GENY perfectly met EDMI’s demands as an energy meter test equipment supplier. Since the early 2000s, GENY has supplied our single-phase and three-phase energy meter test systems to EDMI’s subsidiary factories.
South Sudan
South Sudan Power Utility
The South Sudan power utility would like to establish its first energy meter test lab in the country. A well-known brand, long history, good reputation, reliable quality, competitive pricing and best service are their main concerns.
As one of the leading suppliers of energy meter test equipment in China, and as the first manufacturer of 0.01% energy meter test systems in China, GENY was preferred by the customer to help carry out this project. So in 2019, GENY delivered the test bench to the customer and sent engineers to South Sudan for installation and training. Until now, the test system has been working well and the customer is satisfied.

GENY perfectly met Landis+Gyr’s demands as an energy meter test equipment supplier. Since the early 2000s, GENY has supplied single-phase and three-phase energy meter test systems to Landis+Gyr’s subsidiary factories.

Guinea SEG
The Guinea utility needs to buy single-phase and three-phase energy meter test equipment to carry out energy meter testing. They prefer Chinese-brand equipment for its cost-effectiveness.
As one of the leading suppliers of energy meter test equipment in China, and as the first manufacturer of 0.01% energy meter test systems in China, GENY was selected by Guinea as its supplier. Since the early 2000s, GENY has delivered more than 10 test benches to Guinea SEG, and SEG is the power company with the largest number of GENY equipment in Africa. In addition to the YC-1891/1893 series test benches, SEG also purchased the YC-98 series portable working standards and the YC-99T series portable test systems.

Colombia INECA
Colombia was the second country in South America to which we exported energy meter test benches (the first customer was Landis+Gyr in Brazil). High accuracy, good stability, minimal malfunctions, easy repair, and good technical support are the main concerns of customers from South America.
