In November 2024, Guangzhou GENY International Trading Co., Ltd. (GENY International) was officially established as a wholly owned subsidiary of GENY Electric Co., Ltd. The new company will focus on expanding GENY Electric’s global export business, particularly the promotion and sales of portable energy metering equipment, while further strengthening the company’s presence in international markets.
Founded in 1987 and originally known as Guangzhou Yangcheng Technology Enterprise Co., Ltd., GENY Electric has built long-term experience in the research, development, and manufacturing of energy metering and testing equipment. Its product portfolio covers both fixed energy metering and test systems and portable metering and testing equipment, serving applications in meter manufacturers, metrology laboratories, and power utilities.
GENY’s products are designed and manufactured to meet applicable domestic and international requirements, including GB and IEC standards, as well as relevant CE and ISO-related compliance and quality system requirements where applicable. This long-standing focus on technology, product stability, and quality control has supported the company’s development in both domestic and overseas markets.
To date, GENY’s products have been sold to more than 50 countries and regions worldwide. More than 8,000 testing platforms and over 1 million portable standard devices have been delivered, helping the company build a strong customer base and earn long-term trust across a wide range of market applications.
